And then nothing else to see.

A star should be as innocent
And as flawless as the sky
A star should know no feelings
Just as cold as winter's ice.

But when I became a star
I was covered with markings;
Scars, and scraps, and other cracks,
And as guilty as the sun.

Now I'm shining on the sky,
Every night I try to light
Up your lifes, and dreams, and worlds,
Without anyone to notice.

Did you even know, I'm gone?
And no longer by your side?
Or did you see me when I became -
Became this hopeless little light?

I can't reach you with my light
Not your skin, nor eyes and hair
I am like a broken flash light
My brightness fades in the air.

I always searched for wisdom
I always needed a goal
Now I'm here, with nothing to do
And I feel just like a fool.

I want to make the world bright
Just for the blink of an eye
Like an awesome supernova
And my soul would start to cry.

Let me be your supernova
Maybe I can find my peace
Being a huge explosion
And then nothing else to see.
